We are so grateful for the superb care! She was helpful, encouraging, and caring. She even asked her boyfriend to pick up a large thing of honey because the hospital didn't have any. She asked us to pick up more kosher soup that the hospital didn't have, and she double-checked with us when to light her “candles” for Shabbat and about Kosher food symbols. She is fabulous when your family or friends are in the hospital without many visitors, and you worry if they are really being taken care of well. We feel so reassured that our friend is being well taken care of by this nurse, even though very few people have visited! Our friend is in much pain. Karli has been back and forth on the phone a bunch of times with the doctors to see if there is anything else that can be done for the pain. Not only that, but she comes in and validates our friend, saying that she is sure she is in pain, and tries to help her and comfort her to get through this. I’ve never seen a nurse who has gone so above and beyond. Providence Hospital is lucky to have such a wonderful nurse! Karli assured me that all her fellow Providence nurses are caring and amazing, too.
