With Freddy being a new young nurse, I was a bit worried about the care I would receive. How silly was that? He is kind and compassionate and exemplifies the care that a great nurse needs to positively care for their patients.
Freddy was very professional and made me feel like I was the most important patient here. I was very pleased.

I had surgery on my foot early this afternoon, and Freddy was the nurse for the night. When he came in that night, he was super attentive to my pain. It was some of the worst pain I have ever had in a long time. He heard that I was only on tramadol and told him it was not working. He immediately went to the PA on duty and let her know what was going on and that I was in extreme pain. The next thing I knew, he came back and said the PA was looking at everything and would let me know ASAP what they could do. Shortly, he returned and said they were going to give me morphine. I was hesitant because I never have had morphine. He said, "Don't worry. I will sit with you and make sure you do not have a bad reaction." So he did it, and it went well. I appreciate very much that he made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. I have been through lots of medical stuff. Staff like this is one thing that stands out to me, and above all else, I have had service above and beyond. The nursing staff here at Valley View is amazing.

I am a post-op patient, and he was my nurse the last 2 nights. With Freddy being a new young nurse, I was a bit worried about the care I would receive. How silly was that? Thank you for making my night stay easy and for the amazing care. It didn't go unnoticed.
