I had the absolute pleasure of having Camisha as my nurse the night I delivered my son after being induced Thursday evening, and finally, 27 hours later, he made his entrance, in large thanks to Camisha’s unwavering attention to detail and efficiency. I am a nurse myself, and I can say with my entire being that she encompasses all the qualities that make nurses amazing, but she takes it further and makes her patients feel incredibly seen, heard, safe, and just completely at ease with her compassion and nurturing demeanor.

Camisha also looked to my husband and asked what he needed so he could be better set up to help me. She was so attentive with positioning me, setting my tray up with all my belongings, making sure I could access the phone, calling the bell, and being the first nurse to use the peanut ball to help labor progress. Once she got on shift at 7 pm- when I was 4.5 cm, I was at 9 cm within 2-3 hours and delivered him not long after. She put me at such ease during the scariest, most painful, and life-changing moments in my life. She is the dream for anyone who is lucky enough to have her. She is such a valuable person, and we are beyond lucky to have her in the profession!
