Sadly, I have spent a lot of time in hospitals and met many nurses. Nurses like Teresa are rare gems. She has a smile that is infectious. You can tell that she genuinely cares about not only her patients' physical health but also their emotional/mental health. She listened to my worries and concerns and took the time to answer any questions. She helped me figure out what I wanted to do about a medical decision I needed to make. She assured me that either choice I made, she would support me and help me in any way she could. When I was scared and worried, she comforted and encouraged me. When I needed some joy, she brought tons. I could never have gotten through this stay without Teresa. Teresa has 100% found her calling in life. She is meant to be a nurse, and you can tell she really loves helping others.
