I have been in and out of multiple hospitals over the past several years. Valerie turned my whole second night around just with her personality and smile on her face. I knew it was going to be a great night. She made me feel like I was a person with feelings. She did everything in her power to keep me calm and informed. She would always have a smile on her face, which definitely brightened up my night. She was always checking on me to make sure I was okay.

The first night I had her as a nurse was the first time I had slept through the night in about a week and a half. She had just made me feel so comfortable and cared for. Then the next night I was hoping she was my nurse and she was. She had ice water and a big cup of hot tea with honey to start the night. That gave me the biggest smile and a sense of comfort. Valerie is an extremely compassionate nurse. She cares for her patients and treated me with the utmost respect. When she would come into my room to do meds, we were able to talk, laugh, and all that. She helped to take my mind off of being sick and being in the hospital. I would love to have Valerie as my nurse all the time. She was always on top of my health and my meds and made sure we would never run out of them.
