Ms. Joy Valera, I have known in our OB-GYN Department since I started my private practice fresh from Residency. She has always shown me courtesy and respect despite my being new and through the years has now treated me as family and made me stay on and persevere with practice in Baguio and SLU in particular. Through all the years I have known her she relentlessly goes about her duties even the practice of nurses of accompanying us in our rounds, ensuring that orders are carried out, she has maintained! She performs her duties even on ever so toxic days always with utmost competence, patience, and diligence. Before it is too late (I have been with SLU for more than 30 years!) I would like to publicly acknowledge and thank her for all the years of good, untiring, and kind service to our patients, her colleagues, and consultants all working in the hospital.
