When Hurricane Ida had Louisiana in her path, Candice let her recruiter know that she talked to her manager, and she was going to work the day of Ida's landfall. She stated she would stay over if they needed her throughout the weekend until Monday when she was originally scheduled. She is always willing to help when needed.

Another example of her willingness to help her facility and care for her patients over herself is when COVID was in a spike, she was scheduled to end her contract. Rather than taking a break like she wanted to, she said the facility needed her and couldn't leave the hospital. She decided to extend her contract even knowing all the challenges and risks she was taking. She is a true professional and dedicated nurse.
