Taylor is constantly showing her appreciation and drive. The drive for us, for her, for her patients. It is truly beautiful to watch Taylor’s interactions.
A nurse’s number one priority is always her patients. Making sure they receive the best care we can provide. Our second priority should be us, ourselves, and our team members. Taylor is the nurse who manages to do all 3 simultaneously and seamlessly. I can always go to her. Whether it be for advice, help with a task, to let her know something. Taylor will always greet you in a cheery voice, ask what she can do for you, and help you. I'm the type of person who will ignore myself over my patients and coworkers. I can't take a break until the job is done. However, Taylor notices. She's always looking out for others. Taylor will always advocate for me to step off the floor and take a few minutes for myself. She will pick my task up, no questions asked, just for a quick drink and bathroom break. She's also the one I can always go to in order to learn. If there's something I need help with or to work on, Taylor would be the nurse I will choose. She doesn't care what it is, or whatever the subject matter. She will give me the best information and teaches with a heart that only real, truly compassionate people can achieve. And if there's something she can't do (we all have that ONE thing) and you do it for her? She will never stop saying thank you. Gratitude greater than most people. Grateful for any and all staff and any and all help. Taylor is constantly showing her appreciation and drive. The drive for us, for her, for her patients. It is truly beautiful to watch Taylor’s interactions. Not only has she helped me grow as a tech, but as a person as well. I believe Taylor should be the model our nurses look to. Taylor is always driving for better. No matter who or what it is, Taylor wants to better it. In my opinion, in these troubling times, we need a beacon of light. Ms. Cudhea has been my light.
