Susan's tenderness toward my mother was expressed in each conversation and touch.
When Mom was first enrolled in Hospice Care, Mom and I were unsure if we wanted someone "invading" our space. The first time Susan and the Social Worker entered our door there was no longer a concern of "invasion". The unintimidating gentle, calm, caring concern that came with them set us totally at ease.
My concern about not knowing what to expect in the coming days was put to rest with Susan's assurance that there is always a plan and that she would be with us to implement it. We were no longer alone on this path.

Susan's tenderness toward my mother was expressed in each conversation and touch. She always honored Mom's thoughts and wishes. Even on her days off, she was available through text and phone, right up to the day Mom died. I cannot express what her kindness and thoroughness meant over the last 3 plus months. Susan is a treasure and she is our friend.

I would also like to mention the awesome communication between the different Hospice people.
