I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to Karla. I started bleeding and at that time, I was 6 weeks pregnant. I called the office and Karla returned my call. I was on the phone with her a few times that morning and afternoon and she walked me through every step. She then sent me for blood work and read my results the instant they came back to her. From those results, she then sent me for an ultrasound.
Karla called the Junction Road clinic and was able to get an appointment right away. After my ultrasound, the ultrasound technician sent us to the waiting room and we waited for someone to come out from the office to tell us what our next steps were. Instead, Karla called my cell phone to tell me and my husband that I was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy and to head to the Meriter ER. She chose to make that call instead of having someone from the Junction Road clinic tell us.
When we got to Meriter they were expecting us because Karla had called ahead of time. I had emergency surgery at night and she called the next day to check up on me and answered so many questions that my husband and I had. She was a true blessing and bright light on our darkest day. We cannot begin to thank her enough for all of her support and guidance she gave to us before and after my surgery. Karla went the extra mile and we can never repay her for her care and fast actions.
