My husband’s good friend is in room 4025. He needed an amputation of his toe and has serious circulatory problems. The patient was very frustrated due to lack of communication by the physicians more so because his mother was in Hospice. He is the primary caregiver for his mother and was ready to AMA. Melinda went out of her way to contact Hospice and get a nurse to stay with her for eight hours a day and also someone to check in on his father for one hour a day. This service was previously cancelled and the patient was very worried about his mother. Melinda went above and beyond her call of duty. Her patient is now able to focus on his own health and well being. Thanks to Melinda for going the extra mile to relieve anxiety and stress.
