Susan was able to instill confidence in my son that he was going to be alright so that he didn't worry so much. She went above and beyond to make sure that the family was more than okay with the hospital experience. It was like having a family member care for my son. Susan's smile and the way she approaches her patients and their families has the ability to make anyone's day. She wasn't on duty the day of our discharge and we all wished we could see her again but since we can't, please have someone give her a big hug for us.

Susan is not only a compassionate, caring nurse, but she is a leader in the Women's Center. She has crosstrained in Labor and Delivery so that she can be of assistance when needed and is flexible so that the needs of their patients can always come first. Her dedication to patient care and smooth running of the departments are shining examples of her commitment to the profession of nursing.
