Zach has always been an excellent resource on our floor. Not only is he a genius, but he's also very willing to share what he knows. With the transition to EPIC, he took on the brunt of learning the new charting system and walking each of us through this difficult process. Yes, there were other superusers to help, but he took full ownership and was the obvious leader on this project.

The greatest impact on our floor was lowering the overall anxiety each of us felt. I believe he was here the majority of the first week and for sure the first few days. Zach was always patient, kind, and helpful to all of us, especially to those who are slow learners, like me. He's also taken full ownership of placing IV's with ultrasound and has been a trainer and mentor to those who are learning. He goes out of his way to be available to place difficult IV's for our staff. What a good guy! He is truly an example of leadership.
