My wife and I have had an exceptional stay in the mother-baby unit, all thanks to our new best friend, Yvonne Ingersoll! Yvonne stepped into our lives on the first evening of our stay. Needless to say, she was a blessing to our lives. Yvonne spent so much time with our new baby girl that it was as if we were her only patient on a full floor. She gave me so much comfort in coaching me on how to handle our baby’s choking and spitting-up issues, which scared me to death. I run codes in an ortho hospital and am the director of Physical Therapy. I’ve been a part of my fair share of codes, however never a newborn, much less, my own. Yvonne even took the time to bottle feed our baby girl when she refused and missed feedings. Yvonne made us feel like we were her long-lost family. She eased our minds and gave us great confidence. She went above and beyond. Seeking out better size, special nipples, and care planning. This unit is made so special just by her mere presence. She is joyful and genuine and treats her patients for their individual needs with an empathetic smile, giving them the confidence they need during these serious, scary, life-altering times.
