Yvonne would take the time out of her busy day on the unit to always listen to our concerns and find a way to help with them.
Yvonne was my mom’s nurse for several days. Even when she wasn’t her nurse she would stop in and check on her. Yvonne would take the time out of her busy day on the unit to always listen to our concerns and find a way to help with them. She would get others involved when needed. She expressed her concern about my mom one day when she wasn’t her patient. Yvonne stopped me one morning as I was coming in to say, “Mom isn’t the patient I had yesterday and I’m going to do my best to help her” and I know that Mom wasn’t doing good that day. Yvonne’s kind words touched my heart and she stuck with it. Good Job Yvonne!
