She gave me the strength to fight against cancer in a humanitarian sense. Her support can’t be forgotten.
I was diagnosed with “Uterine Leiomyosarcoma” in 2014; I started my treatment journey at the King Hussein Cancer Center in 2015 till now. I had a pelvic mass resection in April 2022. After the surgical procedure, I was transferred to the Surgical Intermediate Care Unit. I want to extend my gratitude to all nurses at this amazing hospital, especially my primary nurse “Yosra”.

Yosra is a compassionate nurse. Still, I remember her smile and her willingness to assist me. She helped me in a great way to settle into a stressful environment. She made sure I had everything I needed. During a difficult time, my daughters stayed alone in our home. She helped me call my daughters to check on them and to rest assured that everything was going well. She alleviated my anxiety and dispersed my feelings of fear. No words can describe my feeling toward such an exceptional nurse. She gave me the strength to fight against cancer in a humanitarian sense. Her support can’t be forgotten. God Bless You.

I wrote these words in my name and my family’s in the belief that I could say “Thank You, Yosra.” You deserve the honor of being recognized as a true DAISY Nurse.
