My daughter was admitted for detoxification from alcohol. She has been battling this for years, but she said she was tired of it and wanted to get help. On the first full day, Yony “Johnny” was the RN in her room. He made a difference!

He took his time and spoke to her in a quiet, reassuring tone, but was matter-of-fact about what she needed to do to have a quality of life she hadn’t seen in years. He would share a story now and then of successes that he has personally witnessed. In his tone of voice and calmness, he showed that she is an important human being who deserves to be sober and happy. He explained about her liver and how it can mend if she takes care of herself. He said he knew she could do it.

He is a great nurse.  His professionalism and demeanor will benefit so many. It was our pleasure to meet him.
