My husband was placed on comfort care, and Ying went out of her way to make him comfortable. She comforted my family and me in this sudden and scary situation and took care of all of us, not just my husband. She stayed past her shift to make him comfortable by giving him a light bath, changing his gown, and sheets. She gave him medication to ease his pain and anxiety. He was able to pass peacefully and comfortably. Her actions toward my husband and us will be remembered as a great gift in such a scary and emotional time. She should be commended, as she embodies what a great nurse is!
