I have been a patient at Miami Cancer Institute receiving treatment for bladder cancer for three and a half years. In that time, I have been treated by many thoughtful and caring nurses, and I am thankful for their expertise and experience. One nurse stands out in that group. Yenisleidy Gonzalez is that nurse. She has a true gift for making patients feel at ease. You can be assured that you are in good hands. I am extremely grateful to have Ms. Gonzalez as my nurse. She has the expertise to make an otherwise uncomfortable procedure more tolerable. Something no other nurse could do. She takes the time to make sure you are aware of what is happening and what you need to do. Totally professional. My wish is to have her recognized for her outstanding performance as a nurse and a person. She is a credit to her profession and an asset to Miami Cancer Institute and the patients who go there for treatment.
