I spent a week in the ICU and I really wanted to take a shower, but that wasn't possible in the ICU. One evening this nurse wheeled me to another floor and assisted me with a quick shower and shampoo which made me feel fabulous! He also picked up that I was crazy about my 15-year-old bichon frise. He asked me if my dog's shots were up to date. I thought that was an odd question, but confirmed he was. Then he suggested my husband bring my dog for a visit. He helped coordinate the details and I was SO HAPPY to see my dog after being away for so long. We referred to the visit as "Operation Smuggle Snuggle". He was always professional and respectful towards me and provided me the best care! It truly made my stay more pleasant with him there. He is an excellent nurse, a compassionate person, and a tremendous asset to the hospital.
