My 73-year-old mother has been at Lakewood for 2 weeks now and was cared for by so many nurses overall. All nurses have done their job as expected. However, Weena has done more than her job. She has done more than normal. She is very caring and understanding. She makes me feel safe leaving my mom here at the hospital. Weena has been an amazing support for my mother, even though there's a language barrier. Weena tries to understand my mother's concerns, and that, in itself, makes my heart happy. I can tell that Weena loves her job and loves to help people. She is a very kind person with an amazing, positive personality that helps the situation. When my mother is feeling the lowest, Weena is there to comfort her. #1 nurse Weena!
From the very first day of my mom's stay, Weena had already shown her care, compassion, and empathy. She was very respectful and considerate and dedicated to her work, an asset to UCI Health - Lakewood.

I would like to thank Ms. Weena. She has such a beautiful soul. She's very communicative with her patients. She's very nice and helpful with anything I ask her to do. Since my stay here, she's been the best nurse I've had. All the staff have been very helpful and nice to me. I've been here almost two weeks and they are heling me heal up.
