Congratulations to the Weaver 7 interdisciplinary team on being the 2025 BMC-Jax DAISY Team Honoree. Weaver 7 had an astounding six nominations; Five were from patients and family members, and one was submitted by a physician. Each nomination credits these amazing team members for the life-saving, compassionate care, and exceptional service they provide for our patients and their family members.
1st Nomination
Weaver 7 nurses do an outstanding job. They are also very professional, kind, and courteous. I can go on and on. The nurses on Weaver 7 really deserve the DAISY Award. Thank you.
2nd Nomination
These nurses exemplify the care that Baptist provides. Not only are they extremely caring, but they are astute in their care; they exude love for the profession and lead by example, which is what the world needs: those who inspire others. May they continue to provide for our community.
3rd Nomination
Dr Filosa stated, “On several occasions with different patients, difficult circumstances involving a lot of physical exertion were provided with the utmost professionalism. This staff is always exceptional in their professionalism; it is a pleasure to work with them as a surgeon here at Baptist. I know my patients are well taken care of when we communicate well!"
4th Nomination
All of the care given to me by nurses, CNAs, doctors, social workers, dietary, etc., has been excellent. They have been polite and professional. A really great job! Special thanks go to all of my folks, Lanita, Mariah, and the lady who brings the trays and meals. JPG, Doctor Damian and APRN April, Paul, truly, RN or CNA, even the Chaplain, have all gone above and beyond today; all have been guardian angels. Happy Holidays.

Thank you for saving my life! I cannot say enough about kindness. But your team took great care of me. Your ICU staff educated me on the procedures. They allowed their true compassion to manifest. I am eternally grateful. Thank you for allowing God to guide your hands and mind to carefully operate on me. To Him, I owe my life. Thanks for keeping my family updated on everything. So many times, people take kindness for granted, but I noticed this with you guys. Thank you.
6th Nomination
I cannot say enough about this team of people. The care that I received under their guidance helped me to rejuvenate my desire to live. I have a newfound respect for people who are in the healthcare field. The amount of care and compassion these people gave me helped me gain the strength I needed to push forward to conquer this disease I have. I would also like to thank you for your kindness towards my family. It helped them to know that I was taken care of greatly.
Congratulations, Weaver 7 Team! You guys are amazing! Many thanks for all you do for our patients, families, team members, and community.
