I had urologic surgery in September, and my recovery was overseen by this amazing nurse. Waka was attentive to all my needs, compassionate, and incredibly informative. Moreover, his overall demeanor was friendly, and he relayed information, which reduced any stress that I felt. Every question he answered regarding discharge instructions was promptly addressed, simply for me to understand.

Overall, I believe Waka is an incredible asset to Mayo Clinic and the nursing profession. His performance and professionalism are exemplary in every way. As a former professor of medicine and director of a large academic cardiology ICU, I would happily have him as a member of my nursing team. He is outstanding in all respects.
