Patients frequently remark that they had a good night with Wadalla as their nurse, due to how knowledgeable, caring, and empathetic he is.
Wadalla sets an excellent example as a nurse as he continues to grow and develop.  Wadalla began his nursing career as a new graduate nurse in late 2021.  In the nearly three years since then, he has gradually taken on new responsibilities – first, as a charge nurse, then stepping up to join the Night Council, and most recently, he stepped up as a new Magnet Champion and as a preceptor.  He has also taken steps towards professional development, having recently attended the Magnet Conference as well as achieving certification during the summer of 2024.  We are all so proud of him, as he is our first and only certified nurse on the night shift.

Patients frequently remark that they had a good night with Wadalla as their nurse, due to how knowledgeable, caring, and empathetic he is.  Patients and their families often tell the charge nurse that they would like to have him back again if possible.

Despite working a challenging shift on a challenging unit, Wadalla continues to rise to the occasion, and we look forward to seeing his continuing growth and success!
