For this nomination, we found that both the patient, a teenager, and her father contributed to the write-up. The young patient said, "Viv is an incredible nurse who always made me feel comfortable and cared for. She would check on me whenever I was scared and helped me laugh when I was not feeling well. Viv also shared some awesome stories with me and sometimes just stopped by to say hi, even when she didn’t have to. She always made my dad smile when she came by, which meant a lot to both of us. Viv’s kindness and positivity made a big difference during my time in the hospital!"
