Vincent Casumpang, BSN, RN

We had the pleasure of spending 12 hours with Vincent Casumpang. Our family was so impressed by his attitude, care, and compassion for our father. He was exceptional in explaining what he was doing and why, and he was available to smile and spend the time answering our every question.

I felt like he was a part of the family by the end of the day. In fact, I was a little sad to say goodbye. He just made our whole entire experience a little less stressful in such a scary situation for us.

I hope that he is appreciated for his hard work. He has been new to the unit for about four months, but I hope that he goes super far within the medical community because he’s one of a kind and gave us the best experience! Thank you, Vincent!

Vincent went above and beyond his own stressful job. My aunt had multiple strokes; Vincent made sure she was comfortable and my family too. He took the time to explain every medication he was administering and explained the readings on the monitor. Even though he had other patients to attend to, he made the time to be a present nurse.

Vincent made sure my aunt never had pain. He had so much compassion in our time of grief, made sure we had enough Kleenex, water, and even apologized for not having enough chairs for all the family members coming to say their last goodbyes.

Vincent understood the pain we were going through and made sure we were all comfortable too.

The whole team at Banner University of Arizona ICU was extremely accommodating. We weren’t just another patient but humans grieving for our loved one.
