Victoria Hargreaves, RN
In life, we have opportunities to acknowledge the good people who cross our path and do good for us. Nurse Torie Hargreaves was present and attended to my needs for two tours that I recall on Ward 3E back in May of 2026.
Today’s society is upside down, and it affects all walks of life. Torie is the exception to the rule of job title only. It is a calling for her genuinely, through and through. It’s evident in the way she interacts with her patients. She takes in the whole person and asks many questions regarding my health and well-being, physically and emotionally. Her evaluation led her to decide to share one of her tools with me to help. She sent me home with a meditation healing recording with messages of inner peace and tranquility. I thank God for people who see me as a person, not just a job, an old veteran, or useless. Not a number or a must-do! VA has an exceptional nurse in Torie!
