Danni was phenomenal to my family and me after the birth of my daughter. I believe she is truly an angel and made my stay here 10X better than it already was. Christmas was never an easy time for me growing up, and when I found out I was expecting a baby near Christmas, I was anything but excited.

As time went on and my 2-year-old at home really began to get into the Christmas spirit, my whole attitude changed, and these past few months I have been so in love with Christmas. Our daughter came 10 days before her due date, but still a Christmas baby in my book. I say all this background to say that Danni took the time to make my baby a special Christmas hat, and it was truly the happiest memory I have had while being here. She had no idea about my past issues with Christmas, but I can’t put into words what it meant to me to put that little hat on my daughter’s head. I will forever remember and cherish the hat and the beautiful angel of a nurse who made it for us.

Christmas will always be special to me now because of my little girl, and Danni will always be a part of that. St. Francis Hospital should be honored to have such an amazing woman walking the halls of postpartum. She is the epitome of what the DAISY Award stands for.
