Venessa Lopez, RN

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Venessa Lopez, a nurse at Laredo Medical Center, for the incredible care she gave me during my hip surgery. Going through something like this is never easy, but Venessa made a difficult moment feel calmer and more manageable. She was attentive from the very beginning. She answered every question my family and I had with patience and kindness, even when our worries made us ask things that might seem simple. Her calm way of explaining things brought us a sense of peace when we needed it most. What meant the most to me was her follow-through. She checked on me multiple times, kept us informed, and when something wasn’t in her control, she guided us to the right person without hesitation. She never left us feeling lost.
She represents the true heart of this hospital– someone who treats patients with dignity, compassion, and real professionalism. Because of her and the entire team, this experience– which could have been overwhelming– felt safer, clearer, and filled with genuine care. Venessa Lopez made a tremendous difference in my recovery, and I am deeply grateful for everything she did for me.
