Valerie excels at CiCARE in every interaction. Already this week,  I've had two separate family members of patients reach out, trying to find her and thank her for her exemplary service.

The first was the father of a child who had an MRI the week before and hadn't received the results. Val went above and beyond to get him answers, to assure him that she would not leave him hanging and that she'd follow up with him on a specific time schedule. She coordinated several phone calls to not only the family, but the transcription office, medical records, and the patient's PMD to get the family the answers they needed.

The second was the husband of a patient who had an IV go bad. The patient's IV had been placed in a different location before the patient met Val in the MP200 building for a CT scan. Val made such a lasting impression on this family that he has been actively stopping by the department, hoping to catch her when she's here so that he can thank her in person. It was over a month ago, and they're still thinking of the wonderful care and connection Val provided.

None of this surprises me. Val is a huge asset to our team, and we're lucky to have her, as are our patients. Thank you, Val, for all you do. It's a great honor to work alongside you!
