April 2026 Honoree
Usha Molambattu Thomas
Her gentle tone, the way she reassured me, and how she stayed with me the entire time made me feel safe and cared for. It wasn’t just her medical help—it was her kindness, patience, and strong presence that made the pain easier to handle. That moment showed me what true compassion in nursing looks like.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to Nurse Ushamol for her exceptional care and professionalism. My infant son had been suffering from a very high fever, vomiting, and diarrhea for three days. During this time, I visited several hospitals, but unfortunately, no one was able to successfully insert the IV cannula, despite multiple attempts on both his hands and feet.
By the grace of God and thanks to Nurse Ushamol’s remarkable skill, my son’s condition improved quickly. She was able to insert the IV on her very first attempt and took every necessary step to minimize any pain or discomfort for my baby.
I sincerely thank her from the bottom of my heart for her dedication, compassion, and outstanding commitment to providing quality care, especially to children.
Thank you, Usha, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
