I would like to thank Uchenna for her caring heart towards all patients and staff. She tries to inspire staff every day after morning huddle. She patiently listens to any concerns we have and advises accordingly. She also maintains privacy and takes a good leadership role to overcome difficult situations. 

In this clinic most of the staff are very knowledgeable and well mannered, but sometimes things happen differently. Staff's behavior sometimes is not appropriate to each other, but she listens and shows the way to handle nicely and motivates to work hand in hand. I feel this is one of the amazing leadership roles she plays which I follow and appreciate her. She always tells me "Come to me, don't go home with stress." This is a huge word for me. 

Other things I appreciate are that she always tries to motivate improvement in knowledge, encourages participation in ONS education fairs and other pertinent educational events. She also tries to make our unit a pleasant and calm environment for patients and families who are already struggling with the most devastating situations in their lives. 

Also, we are trying to get drawing & coloring materials which patients will use during their long treatment hours and patients will be engaged with active recreational activities which will help overcome stress & help to improve health & treatment. 

Uchenna tries to solve any barrier which affects patient care immediately. Suppose patients' treatment will be delayed when one pharmacy or medication doesn't get approved - she jumps on that to solve as quick as possible. That I think comes from her passion to improve patient care and outcomes.
