No matter how challenging the person is, Tytiana treats them with respect and as a friend.

Tytiana is consistent, hard-working, and selfless in all that she does for our patients and facility.
She never leaves a patient or worker behind. Even when there are three people in a room, Tytiana still comes in to check on everyone and make sure they’re ok and is the first person to jump at a call light or alarm.
Tytiana deserves this award because she truly makes everyone her friend. No matter how challenging the person is, Tytiana treats them with respect and as a friend.
Two times I have seen Tytiana assist with agitated and jumpy patients and just let them sit with her in the hall. This small act calms the patient and also gives the techs and other nurses time to tend to other patients and tasks. She does this even with patients she has not been assigned to care for.
Another reason Tytiana deserves the DAISY Award is her patience. At times we all deal with difficult patients, but Tytiana has a way of treating each patient as a beloved family member.
