This nomination is for someone who truly went above and beyond to care for me as I was trying to better myself. Tyrie recognized that I was living out of my car and preparing for transfer to a psychiatric facility for rehab. With compassion and respect, Tyrie went out to my car to help pack a to-go bag with my belongings. He noticed my Bible and study notes and made sure to include them, honoring what was important to me and sharing in that faith connection. He even took the time to clean up food and trash left in my car so it wouldn't spoil or create an unhealthy environment when I returned. This act showed genuine care not only for me, but also for my dignity, well-being, and spiritual support. This is a true example of nursing that embodies compassion, respect, and love.
