Trish was our triage nurse when I brought my baby through the ER in respiratory distress. She immediately took my concerns seriously and got us back to a room quickly. While I was being told my child was being admitted to the hospital, my family was trying to reach me to let me know my other child was having a seizure. Trish helped me navigate this painful, stressful situation. If it had not been for her, I truly would not have been okay. My other child arrived at the ER by ambulance, and she got me a child life specialist to take care of one baby while I went to be with the other one. She got them rooms right next to each other, so it would be easier for me to go between rooms. Trish was an angel on the scariest day of my life, and she deserves so much recognition for the kindness and compassion she showed to me and my babies.
