Trisha Quental, RN
I am honored to nominate Trisha Quental for the DAISY Award in recognition of her extraordinary dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to both her patients and her colleagues.
Trisha serves as our Gynecologic Oncology Nurse Navigator, and over the past several months she has taken on far more than her own role would ever require. In addition to expertly caring for her gynecologic oncology patients, she has seamlessly stepped in to cover the responsibilities of the Breast Health Navigator and the Case Manager. Despite carrying the workload of multiple positions, she continues to provide exceptional care to every patient she encounters.
What makes Trisha truly remarkable is not only the volume of work she manages, but the grace and positivity with which she does it. She never complains, never lets additional responsibilities affect the quality of care she provides, and always puts her patients first. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure patients feel supported, informed, and cared for during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Her patients know they have an advocate in their corner, and her coworkers know they can depend on her without hesitation. Trisha exemplifies teamwork, professionalism, and compassion in every interaction. She is the person who quietly steps in when help is needed, solves problems before others even recognize they exist, and continues to show up every day with kindness and dedication.
