My uncle was admitted for a stroke here at Kaiser Redwood City for several weeks. He was physically and mentally debilitated after falling and hitting his head. We were so heartbroken and depressed at his poor prognosis, but with the help of the nurses and doctors, we were given hope. All the nurses who took care of my uncle were amazing and such hard workers, but Trisha was exceptional. She was so polite and kind, empathetic to our needs, and provided such excellent care not just to my uncle but also to the family. She was so knowledgeable and skilled, and answered all our questions regarding our family member’s situation. When my uncle woke up, he was very confused and almost violent, but she handled him with care and dedication. When he was eventually discharged to a facility, he wanted to thank the staff who helped with his care, but specifically remembered Trisha, who was the most memorable. Please honor her for her hard work and going above and beyond expectations!
