Earlier this year, my elderly mother was diagnosed with cancer and required several procedures. Her first visit was especially difficult—she was anxious and frail. That day, her nurse was Trish. From the moment they met, Trish offered comfort and reassurance, explaining each step of the process and gently holding my mother’s hand throughout the procedure.

Every time we returned for another appointment, my mother would ask for her. And each time, she was there, welcoming her with warmth and staying by her side for the entire visit.
