I would like to recognize Tricia, RN, for the extraordinary compassion, support, and care she provided to my sister and our family during one of the most devastating moments of our lives.

My sister delivered her baby at just 17 weeks, and Tricia was the person who gently guided her through every step of an experience no parent is ever prepared for. As the bereavement counselor and nurse, Tricia created a sense of safety, dignity, and understanding in the midst of overwhelming grief. She explained each part of the process with patience and tenderness, making sure my sister felt informed, supported, and never alone.

Tricia went above and beyond not only to get her to the delivery but in the moments that followed. She provided my sister with invaluable postpartum resources and emotional support, helping her navigate both the physical and emotional aftermath of her loss. She showed a level of empathy that can't be taught - it came from her heart. Her presence made an unbearable situation just a little more bearable, and we will never forget the kindness she gave us.

Tricia truly embodies the spirit of nursing. She's made of pure gold. Her compassion, professionalism, and gift for supporting families in grief make her so deserving of this recognition. We are forever grateful for the care she gave my sister and our family.
