Tressie was one of my husband‘s first nurses during his stay. She stayed by his bedside during his first evening post-op when he became unstable. He was developing internal bleeding and needed critical attention. She was compassionate, caring, and professional. Since I was able to stay with him after his critical return to the OR for post-op internal bleeding, she and her team provided comfort and reassurance. The entire CVICU team quickly became like family during this critical time, even to the point of sharing midnight pizza and lasagna, which this nurse’s husband had provided. Tressie is a great leader and critical care nurse.
