Traci was the only one who understood the complexity and importance of timely care with medications when it came to MALS surgery. I was honored to have her for 5 nights in a row. After receiving tough news post op, Traci was my biggest cheerleader, but also my biggest supporter. My mom was scared to leave me, but once Traci walked in that first night, both my mom and I felt like I was in safe hands. She gave both my mom and dad peace of mind and reassurance. She provided laughter when times were tough, even for my parents. She genuinely cares and wants ALL her patients to improve. While she was in a rapid, she sent another nurse to make sure I got my medications on time and not too late. After a day where pain was hard to control and I missed meds due to a very busy nurse, she came in and immediately set up a bunch of alarms on her phone and was determined to get me back on track. And she did. Even if she was having a bad day, I could never tell as she always put ME first. I genuinely felt so comfortable with her, especially the first night in which I had an accident, she made me forget my embarrassment and made me feel beyond safe.
