No nurse should ever have to walk families through this kind of loss, but Tiffany did so with grace, humanity, and profound compassion.
Tiffany cared for us during the unimaginable loss of our child, and I can say without hesitation that she changed the way we survived the worst night of our lives.

She held my hand through the worst pain I've ever felt, both physically and emotionally. At one point, I told her I didn't feel like I deserved an epidural because | wasn't giving birth to a living baby. Tiffany didn't brush past that comment or offer a rehearsed response. She looked at me and reminded me, again and again, as many times as I needed to hear it, that I was a mom and that I did not need to endure physical pain on top of such deep heartbreak.

That moment alone showed the depth of her compassion and understanding. Throughout the night, she spoke with my husband and me like real people, not just patients. She answered the hardest questions honestly, but always with gentleness and care, knowing exactly how much we could handle. Her calm presence and casual conversations somehow made an unbearable situation feel a little less overwhelming.

Tiffany went far beyond her clinical role. She prayed with us. She made a beaded necklace with our son's name on it, a gift that we will treasure forever. It was such a small act, yet it carried immense meaning and love during a time when everything felt shattered. No nurse should ever have to walk families through this kind of loss, but Tiffany did so with grace, humanity, and profound compassion.

Because of her, we felt seen, validated, and cared for during the darkest moment of our lives. She embodies everything the DAISY Award represents, and we will never forget her.
