During my stay at DMH on the Cardiac Unit, I had the privilege of being cared for by Tia Frydenger, and I can’t say enough about the impact she made on my experience. Tia demonstrated compassion and kindness that went far beyond what anyone could expect.

From the moment she entered my room, she treated me not just as a patient, but as a whole person—with empathy, patience, and a calm, reassuring presence. What stood out even more was how she extended that same care and attentiveness to my visiting family. She made sure they felt informed, included, and supported throughout, which made all the difference in a stressful time.

Tia consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, taking time to check on me even when she was clearly busy.
