Thomas explained everything he was about to do with my husband’s care. After a week, my husband passed (while Thomas was on days off). We did not have the opportunity to thank him properly. Thomas is very personable. I’m so pleased we were assigned to each other.

During my mom’s stay in the ICU, we experienced so many ups and downs in a very scary situation over the course of 5 days. The entire staff was amazing, but one was an absolute standout, Thomas. Thomas was a huge comfort to my mom when she was very confused and angry coming out of sedation and experiencing some cognitive struggles, and Thomas was the most patient and kind person through the next couple of days, getting her back on her feet. He let us know not to feel embarrassed or worried, and that he will never be offended or judgmental as we navigate this. Through hallucinations, confusion, and medical challenges, he stayed so calm, explained everything thoroughly to her and us, and was unshaken in the face of some very big mood swings and some frightening cognitive issues. He made her feel safe, and that was huge for our family. I cannot say enough to thank him.
