Theresa took care of my mom after she suffered a stroke. My mom was placed in hospice the same evening. There are no words to express my gratitude and sense of peace I had knowing she was caring for my mom, if I couldn’t be there. I had such a hard time leaving my mom’s side, but I knew she was in compassionate and knowledgeable hands.

We sat one night, me holding one of my mom’s hands and Theresa holding the other. Theresa played music for her, and we sat there having girl talk. I know my mom was listening and absolutely loved it. I wasn’t there when my mom passed, but Theresa was, there with her, holding her hand.

This nurse is the epitome of love and compassion; all nurses should have a soul like hers. She truly has wings, you can’t see them, but I know they are there, and I know my mom knows as well. Theresa, we love everything you did for us, and I will never forget you! Words will never be enough for what you did for us, especially my mom. She is giving you a heavenly hug.
