I think I can speak for all the staff at Hartford Behavioral Health when I say that our nurse, Theresa, is such a genuinely caring and compassionate nurse who treats all the patients we serve with the utmost dignity and respect each and every day. She takes time to listen to her patients' concerns and works with them to find the best solutions possible. Theresa comes to work every day with a smile, and her kindness shows in all that she does in regard to patient care. She is currently the only nurse at our program which is considered Mental Health Urgent Care, this includes AIS, MHIOP and Hartford Outpatient Program, so there is an endless number of walk-in patients each day that might need to be seen and she somehow gets all that needs to be done completed by the end of her shift. We also have several doctors here who rely on her skills and expertise to make sure patients get their injections, medication refills, and other medical needs taken care of during each and every visit. Theresa has been a dedicated Atlanticare Nurse for over 34 and truly deserves to be recognized for the excellent care she continues to provide to the population we serve at Hartford Ave.
