On Saturday, my mother unexpectedly coded in another part of the hospital. What followed was a whirlwind of fear, confusion, and heartache that led our family to the unit. We were shaken, desperate for answers, and emotionally raw. Unfortunately, the initial staff we encountered seemed uncertain and reluctant to provide the clarity we so desperately needed.

Then, like a beam of light cutting through a storm, she entered the room. From the moment she began her shift, everything changed. She was a literal angel on Earth. With calm confidence and a warm, reassuring presence, she took the time to explain every machine, every monitor, and every step of my mother's care in a way we could understand. No question was too small. No concern was brushed aside.

What set her apart wasn’t just her medical knowledge—it was her compassion. She spoke to us with empathy, treated our mother with dignity, and made each of us feel seen and heard during one of the most terrifying moments of our lives. Her gentle spirit and educational approach brought a sense of peace that words can hardly describe.

We are beyond grateful for her. She didn't just provide excellent care—she gave our family the gift of understanding, comfort, and hope during a moment when we needed it most. Thank you for being the heart in healthcare.
