When I was scared, overwhelmed, and in pain, she reassured me with her words, her patience, and her presence. She never rushed me, never dismissed my concerns, and checked on me frequently without me ever having to ask. What stood out most was how she advocated for me. She made sure my needs were communicated clearly, paid close attention to my comfort, and ensured both my baby and I were safe at all times.

After my baby was born, she continued to show exceptional care, helping me with recovery, answering every question I had, and encouraging me when I doubted myself as a new mother. Because of her kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion, my birth experience was far more positive and comforting than I ever imagined it could be.

She made a lasting impact on me during a life-changing moment, and I will never forget the care she gave my son and me. Teresa embodies everything the DAISY Award represents: extraordinary clinical skill, deep empathy, and a true calling to care for others.”
