I felt like the Star of the Show! Teresa was so accommodating throughout my pre-op check-in. My husband and I were so frustrated at not finding our way around. THEN we asked three young ladies who seemed to work in the building. Not only did they work there, they escorted us directly there as they were going too! I wish I had gotten their names to shout from the highest hotel…YOU ROCK! Some of them ended up being part of the team that took such great care of me. Then when I got signed in I was immediately taken back (as I was late) and everyone assured us it was no problem. Now I know that it was because I was the first scheduled surgery. So I really appreciated Teresa assuring me warmly that it was ok.

Throughout my time with Teresa, she was asking me the necessary questions and answering the many questions from nurses, doctors, and others. She had such calmness and professionalism with a smile the whole time. It calmed me down knowing she had it all under control. In fact, I saw nothing but smiles the whole time I was there. After Teresa inserted my IV, I JUST KNEW I’d have a bruise! Nope, barely a bump at all! In fact, when I looked up after Teresa left, all the nurses and doctors at the nurses' station were waving at me! Like I said, Star of the Show treatment!

There were so many people who were excellent that deserve recognition for an above and beyond experience! I’ve never experienced this level of caring for me EVER! I could go on but the biggest testament to all this is that I’ve decided to switch from Baptist Healthcare to U of L Healthcare in the near future! I never thought I would leave them! Please give these people the awards they deserve. It’s very warranted. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart and back.
