I had surgery and experienced wonderful care from the entire team, but especially from my nurse, Ted. Ted truly changed my pre- and post-surgery experience with his warmth, charm, and attentive, professional care. His sense of humor lightened my spirit and kept my husband and me laughing up through my being rolled into the OR.

This was my first major surgery, and I arrived at the hospital feeling anxious about what my surgery would be like, but Ted’s calm demeanor and humor truly changed my experience into a positive one, making me feel comfortable, relaxed, and very much taken care of. He was affable, highly professional, and just such a comfort to me as he prepared me for surgery. I am so grateful Ted was part of my care team and will always appreciate his gestures of sensitivity and kindness during my hospital visit.
